The Isle of Man is known for its unique and varied countryside. With almost 100 miles of coastline combined with rolling hills and even a mountain there is a range of wildlife and birds to keep an eye out during your visit.
Manx BirdLife is an IOM based charity working to conserve wild birds and their habitats in the Isle of Man and works in partnership with the RSPB and other organisations.
Originally founded in 1997 their initial role was to establish the status of the Island's bird life at the start of the 21st century. Since 2006 they have been commissioned by the IOM Government to monitor the breeding birds in the island.
In addition to this work their website also keeps regular sighting information so if you are looking to indulge in a birdwatching during your trip to the island they have all the information you need to find the ideal spot.
Further information can be found on the Manx BirdLife website.
