Laxey is a small port between Douglas and Ramsey on the East coast of the Isle of Man, and a journey on the Manx Electric Railway is a great way to get there.
As well as the famous "Laxey Wheel" the village also hosts the Laxey sailing club in the shallow draft Laxey harbour. Sporting a licenced clubhouse with an open fire that is open to members and their guests it is a great spot to stop off after visiting some of the local attractions.
After viewing the local attractions and the sailing club a short trip back into Douglas brings you to host of restaurants and nightclubs where you can dine and dance the night away during your holiday.
