Theatre & Concerts
The Isle of Man has a rich history of Theatre Productions and Concerts so, during your holiday on the Island, it is well worth bringing your family to see an event or possibly even tour a venue.
The Gaiety Theatre is over 100 years old having been opened in 1900, is one of the finest entertainment venues in the British Isles. With a year round programme of events there is plenty to entertain all members of the family. From pantomime to classical productions, concerts to musicals, every taste is catered for so it is well worth checking what will be available to watch during your trip.
There are also opportunities to tour the theatre during your visit, getting a real insight into the backstage life and history of this great building. You could even take part in a ghost tour around the venue, if you are feeling brave enough.
The Villa Marina complex, originally opened in 1931, has undergone a transformation into a high quality modern complex including the Royal Hall which can seat up to 1500 people and hosts events all year round.
As well as live shows by local and international musicians, the venue also holds regular large-scale events such as dance competitions and sporting events. The complex also holds the Broadway Cinema with nightly screenings of the latest movies.
