The Isle of Man prides itself on keeping you entertained during your holiday and you will find a wide range of clubs from recognised UK brands through to small local bars where you can try a locally produced beer or spirit.
Many of the bars and clubs perform 2 functions. A place to drink and party the night away in the evening but a more relaxed atmosphere and dining during the day time. Central Douglas is packed with bars, pubs and nightclubs so it is an ideal place to stop off after a day visiting the Manx Museum or traveling on the Heritage Railways.
In the afternoon a walk through town as the shops close will show you a range of bars offering light dining options matched with local cocktails. A wander through the town centre later in the evening will bring you to plenty of bars with live local bands and a mix of traditional pubs matched with newer cocktail bars.
Later in the night there are nightclubs open until the early hours, often with international guest DJ's playing. As the night winds down you could even pop to the Casino situated in the Palace Hotel Complex on the promenade. There you could try your hand at a game of Blackjack or a spin on the roulette wheel.
