The Isle of Man is a great fishing location and the North of the Island forms a great fishing base with a range of locations from stony beaches through to hidden nooks from which to cast.
Ramsey Angling club, based in the north of the Island has been established for many years and regularly runs competitions on the Northern shores and Ramsey Bay area of the Isle of Man.
Many top anglers from the UK and Ireland come to take part in the Ramsey Angling Festival which they host annually in July, as well as enjoying the Islands magical scenery.
If during your trip you do visit this part of the Island there is plenty more to do after your angling, with the Millennium Way footpath ending in the centre of the town, and ten pin bowling available to keep the entire family entertained during your trip.
Further information can be found on the Ramsey Angling Club website.
