The Isle of Man has great countryside, almost 100 miles of coastline and is a great place to explore and enjoy the outdoors. While you can do this through walking, or even hiring a bike for a day or two, Segway Isle of Man offers an exciting alternative mode of getting around.
Although they look difficult to use and balance on they are, in fact, very easy to use with the machine doing all the hard work. They are also suitable for many age groups, although people under 16 will need an adult to go with them.
The most popular tour they offer is the Segway Safari, which takes around 50-60 minutes, in one of the forests on the Isle of Man. There are a range of other tours also offered including Douglas Promenade tours, beach tours in Castletown or Peel beach and many more. All can be booked in advance to ensure you get a place on the day.
Based on where on the island you complete your tour you will have plenty of opportunity to see a local heritage attraction or perhaps visit a local pub and try one of the famous Manx Ales during your trip.
