Same Sex Marriage Map

As of 22nd July 2016, the Isle of Man passed an equal marriage law, which granted marriage to those in same sex relationships – an important step forward for equal rights and one that we thought should be celebrated!

That is why we have created a map to show exactly how the spread of equal marriage laws has gained pace across the globe – starting with The Netherlands at the turn of the millennium until now. Unfortunately, the lack of equal marriage laws is still marked from the map, showing exactly how far there is to go for equal rights, but as each country passes the law it is a step in the right direction.

So take a look below to see the countries that have now passed laws in support of equal marriage and hopefully the spread will continue with the map soon becoming full, with legal same sex marriage the norm!
